Is there a way to display an image, have the meter read the image, while I adjust contrast and aim for a specific xyy? At 20IRE it's below 1.
DIY HDTV Calibration Software Overview: A Comparison of ColorHCFR, ChromaPure, and CalMAN
In THX mode those extra settings are blocked off. What should I do? What did I wrong??? The only plasma I ever adjusted before was my old Panny I gave my dad. I will recalibrate with the new steps.
The Spyder driver is version 1. Then I clicked OK. The grayscale tracking was much incorretc and the picture looks far better than it did before. During the course of my reading I realised that I have to put my iProfiler CD into the drive and run the i1d3ccss. Standard I adjusted to 47 peak ftL, for when I have lights on.
Well actually I got interested in calibration because of my interest in photo editing. My xy measures are better. My EX came out much better since it has gamma control but there is a decent improvement in color nicorrect.
But I've heard the colors it's has a hard time with are red and green. Ill get this one instead. Are you still with us here?
Calibrating & Correct Contrast (HCFR + i1Display Pro)
Overall I'm very pleased with my results. Then I searched the Argyll website, I downloaded the Argyll 1. I know you said you tried to set the 10IRE to. I tried that on my display as well, tried for both. Unfortunately inclrrect you can see in the attached graphs, when you save a graph inside of ColorHCFR, the reference measurement color is light grey on white, so they are a bit hard to read. I'm going to carry on practising until I no longer need the guide. Please note, if you do not have HCFR downloaded, you won't be able to see these.

I hope you can help me with my questions and all enjoyed the holidays. It's currently doing about ftL. Gamma is improved under this setting.
Display the white clip pattern from GCD - Set contrast as high as possible without white clipping 4. PQ at this point is great anyway. This thread is for those who calibrated their tv using a colorimeter and HCFR themselves.
Some plasmas just have a hard time getting a gamma of 2. I don't know why but it came out great. Uncorrect in the teens to the 20s.
